I read your post and was thinking about the unusual difficulty that people such as ourselves would have in recognizing something like the physiological effects (symptoms) of early diabetes. I feel so weird on any given day that it'd be spurious for me to assume that it was caused by something outside of my brain. I wonder how many people with mental disorders fail to recognize nascent disease symptoms, simply because they get drowned out by the daily fluxions in energy, anxiety, and general unreality that they experience all the time.
I think the other posters have good advice, too. Diabetes can be fought back if addressed early enough.
