I'd love to test out whether you can sign up without a yahoo email address but if you leave the email field blank you get an error and I am definately NOT giving yanoo my home email. The only reasons I am opposed to switching to another Chat system is that I think Yahoo will at least be around for awhile and that changing or splitting it would further fragment the users of this board.
