I started doing it a few days ago. In combination with Vitamin D3, I am largely unaffected moodwise by the dark season.

I also seem to be unaffected by reduced exposure to sunlight during the winter. But I've still given light therapy a try. I started out using blue light, because it's supposed to be more potent than white light. Then I read that blue light might harm the eyes, and that green light is safer, so I bought these light therapy glasses:
I can't say that they've helped me, but they could be very helpful for those suffering from seasonal affective disorder.

Cool. I use the Luminette from Belgium. Blue light. This is the first time I hear about green light.

I restarted a few days ago. SAD affects me. The lightbox helps (it's a good one) but it's still a slog until Spring.

Yeah, it is not quite the same as natural light but nonetheless very helpful.

I kind of had bad results with the Luminette 3. Going back to the number 2 Version now. I slept in until noon and got really apathetic the second it got dark outside. So I am pretty certain it is Seasonal Affective Disorder.
Most people have less energy this time of the year. However not everybody ceases to function like I did.
I am using a lamp until the Luminette 2 arrives. I found it in my basement.

It turns out I didn't use the Luminette 3 correctly. The blue light needs to hit the lower half of the eye. It works now. This is priceless, it helps a lot.
