Inositol is found linked to other B-complex vitamins, and does a "waltz" with B4 which is Choline, to arrive at a balance. I would intuit that dehydration by whatever means will cause more anxiety than Inositol ever could.

B3 which is niacin, can cause anxious moments for 10 to 20 minutes after taking 400 mg. Niacin is a vaso-dilator, so you turn beet red.

Inositol is used up in the assymilation of mega vitamin C dosing (10 grams or 10k mgs). Choline is used in the firing of muscles, so excess exhaustion and exercise can get you on the wrong side of a balance between Inositol and Choline.

A B-complex pill is usually balanced against itself, but not balanced for someone who is not a couch potato. B vitamins are readily processed by the liver and end up as "Yellow River", especially in megadoses.

For 5 capsules it has 3000mg of inositol, 500mg GABA and 1000mg of niacinamide, which i thought didnt have the red affect like niacin!! and is safer at higher doses right?. If i take it slowly i should be fine shoulnt i?

Do you mean you urine goes bright yellow by the term ''yellow river'? as i only have to take a bit of vit B and my wee is toxic yellow!! is that bad?

What are your thoughts of that supplement then?
Will it be any good?
Thanks

Bright yellow is passing excess

Can you afford it? Excess vitamins get expen$ive.

Also 200 mg Niacin is a bunch, so 400 mg niacinamide would be sorta equal. Who suggested 1000 mg (1 gram)? I choose 100 mg niacin twice a day to do what its good for, and stay safe from tingley *on-fire* feelings. Great in higher doses for balancing what ever is outta whack when you have high cholesterol produced by your liver. The verdict is still out for niacinamide's effect on cholesterol.

Recommendations of 1000 mgs of Niacinamide are not unusual Its been recommended to me personally by an allopathic/naturapathic physician
Its also recommended for stress and depression in the book
"Prescription for Nutritional Healing"
James F. Balch, M.D. Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C.

Dr. Andrew Weil recommends up to 2000mgs

Its actually difficult to find a supplement that contains as little as 400 mgs.

And no it won't cause the "niacin flush"

Though I can't personally attest to its safety, I can only judge what I've read to the best of my ability, I can attest to its effectiveness for relaxation-- at smaller doses for me it does not have the same effect.
