Recommendations of 1000 mgs of Niacinamide are not unusual Its been recommended to me personally by an allopathic/naturapathic physician
Its also recommended for stress and depression in the book
"Prescription for Nutritional Healing"
James F. Balch, M.D. Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C.Dr. Andrew Weil recommends up to 2000mgs
Its actually difficult to find a supplement that contains as little as 400 mgs.
And no it won't cause the "niacin flush"
Though I can't personally attest to its safety, I can only judge what I've read to the best of my ability, I can attest to its effectiveness for relaxation-- at smaller doses for me it does not have the same effect.
