What the docs won't tell you is that while you are on the meds you should be learning how to handle the stress . . . of course you find out the hard way as you come off the meds that you should have done something, and now you have to wing it!

I personally am Christian, but I don't care what religion you practice, you should get real tight with it during this withdrawal period because it gives you the support you need.

I've found my frustration tolerance has been really low lately. My boyfriend and I came up with a plan that when I'm letting a frustration take me over in a way that is not proportional to the situation, we talk in rhymes. It sounds so stupid! But that's why it works. It always makes me laugh and I'm distracted enough to let the situation go...at least for a little while. Also, last night I felt so overwhelmed by emotions and, although I'm not religious, I prayed for like, 15 minutes. I felt such a huge release afterwards. Whether you want to call it prayer, meditation, or whatever, it can be really calming.
