Hey Dinah, I just got back on the net, and saw these posts. Some of what you're going through is scary to me, because I've been there. When I start thinking about things to get done before..., it might be too late. By telling here and at home, you may have held it off, but I think maybe you do need more help. It is hard to get a bed right now. Ben Taub sent me home after an ambulance picked me up. Methodist is a grim place, but has the best psychiatrists in the city and is safe. Menninger is as expensive as hell, but if you could swing it, I wish everybody here could spend some time there.
I don't want to be presumptuous by commenting on such a big issue, I just want you to be safe. I care.
