This whole sock thing has me really torn up. (Ha - "whole", "torn up"...I crack myself up sometimes!) I can't seem to keep my toe covered up no matter how hard I try. It's exhausting me. I really need to see your trick, gg.
I'm so lucky to have friends that understand and are willing to eat ice cream to help me feel better. Or wait, maybe you're just friends looking for a reason to eat ice cream? ;) ;) Either way, I'm glad you're all here with me until I can get a decent pair of socks on. I'm a wreck.
Just so you know, these are...well, were cute socks. Black with tiny pink flowers around the top and heel.
My dog eats my socks sometimes. That's not what happened here, this was a freak of nature. I hate when she does that, though. I like socks. I spend hours shopping for socks sometimes and then I wear them once before she finds them and destroys them. I think it's when she's mad at me, but I don't know what I did to make her mad. Maybe it was that time I put a bow in her hair.
One time, my T wore socks that I thought might be women's socks. That bothered me. I didn't tell him, though.
Oh, and one time, my cousin said she wanted socks for her birthday (you know, in the era when we wore at least two pair in coordinating colors slouched down under our pants that were folded over and rolled up at the ankles - you know what I'm talking about, gg. Don't pretend you don't). Anyway, my mom bought her at least twenty pairs and wrapped them individually for everyone to give her before her "real" presesnts. I was so jealous. Great colors like neon green and fuchsia. Okay, okay, it was 1985 or something.
I only own a few pairs of white socks for the gym. Oooh, and I wore a fuzzy purple pair last night when I was watching TV. I love soft, fuzzy socks, but only for in the house. Generally, most of my socks are black or gray with some design. I wonder if my T hates it when he has to look at my dog socks.
Sometimes, I have to take my socks off in the house because I've fallen down my carpeted stairs four too many times while wearing socks.
Oh, and my husband takes his socks and folds them in half to put them away. I roll one of them over so they get "stuck" together. I'll demonstrate after gg. He's wrong the way he does it, BTW.
I think those are all my sock stories.
And of course I can't wear my socks on the wrong feet. I don't know exactly what you were thinking when you suggested that horror, falls, but I love you for trying. And for throwing me a party because I have a hole in my sock. :)
