A kitten is the thought that crossed my mind also - NOT that I'm putting down monkeys!! ;-)
Just a comment about 12-step meetings. Even though some include the "Lord's prayer", they are for everyone - not only Christians. They do mention God, but it's 'God as you understand God'. I've known people who were atheists & for them, 'God' might be 'Nature' or 'The Universe' etc.
I just wanted to add that in case mention of prayer was uncomfortable for someone who might otherwise try out a meeting.
