It's a shame your neighbors have shied away from you. Is there any kind of community group you can join for support? If alcohol or drugs has ever been a problem, you could go to AA or Al Anon. You could even try CODA if you think it's appropriate. Do you have any particular religious convictions? I know that many organized religions are judgemental, but it is possible to find some special ones. It would probably do you some good to have real life connections, people who could help you and support you besides the members of PB (I'm not knocking PB members. They are awesome.)
I hope you made it to the pool. I'm going to a health retreat soon, and they have a pool. I can't wait. It's the best exercise although all I really do is dog paddle. I never learned to swim very well. I can only go in during the early mornings and late afternoons though because the sun exacerbates the lupus symptoms and gives me a rash. I am very focused on improving my health these days. I'm slowly but surely encorporating healthier habits into my life, for example, nutritious food and exercise.
