Sorry ~~
That's my message for NZL. Not for you.
Here it's all about 'too many chiefs' and people trying to guilt etc other people into... Handing over all their stuff. Or slaving for no pay. Etc. It's all about the money trail in these parts. Those with the money constantly oppressing those without so they keep their money and grow richer... If they can get a handle on how to psychologically abuse people into continuing to slave for them etc etc they are all for it. No low they won't stoop too...
I actually thought that 'projection' was projecting an aspect that could be 'good' or 'bad' crudely. And I thought specifically that 'projective identification' was identifying with good that one had projected. I did not think that projective identification was something whereby people could identify with the bad. I mean... You would want to disown the bad rather than identify with it -- yes?
But it seems that that's not a standard way of viewing projective identification at all. People can projectively identify with bad aspects, too.
I suppose, just thinking now on it... Nazi's, say, want to believe that anyone would have done what they did were they in their position. I suppose any and all abusers want to see and identify with bad things in their victims. So they believe that their victims would do to them what they do to their victims if luck or whatever was different. To justify them doing what they do. Doing what they have done.
That does make sense.
Why are you interested in this?
