I don't think it's weird at all. I think it's a great example of feeling free enough (maybe trusting your T enough) to go outside the bounds of what you normally do in therapy. Sometimes that kind of stuff ends up being a way to communicate about something that just doesn't come out in the conventional way. Anyway it sounds like it made your T happy, and that's usually fun. How did you feel about it?
It makes me think of one of my favorite times in therapy, when I was talking about some work I was going to do in my yard, and I just grabbed the crayons and drew my front and back yard with a lot of energy. It was fun for both my T and I, and he also said that he really liked it. I remember that as one of my best therapy session. I felt so happy.
