Hi..
I think that was a wonderful idea...and if you don't mind I think I'll do the same =) I struggle with wanting to take my T back to the things that happened..and I think it's a wonderful idea that you can show him where things took place when you were little...
it's powerful ...
I do remember my childhood room in detail and living room and all, maybe it's because I used to hang on to the objects while things were happening =(.
I think it's wonderful that you could draw this and share it with your T and that he wants to keep it.
About the group..I truly don't know, I think I'd trust your T ,and maybe give it a try...
