just some thoughts- the amount of remeron you are taking is helpful for sedation, not depression. you sound anxious and depressed, and honestly in later studies neurontin worked little better than a placebo for anxiety. have you ever been prescribed a benzo like xanax- it really helps with anxiety and may sedate you enough that you won't need the remeron. akathesia is very common with ssri's- so what you are describing really doesn't sound like bipolar to me. try not to worry about labels, but do try to get effective treatment for your anxiety disorder. take care, judy
