as I understand it, a normal prolactin level is in the 20's. For pregnant or nursing mothers it is way above that.
once again, as it was a few years ago, my sister's prolactin level was again found to be above normal
so, she is going to have an MRI (apparently they rule out pituitary tumors in this way)
but a few years ago they found the same thing and they did an MRI back then - no pituitary tumor, but another type of benign tumor in her brain- at the back of the brain
- one brain surgery -one minor stroke (from complications) -2nd brain surgery later (to repair complication from 1st) and she's alright nowso I imagine she probably has prolactin levels consistently above normal
so I've got to wonder why
dopamine agonist eh?
