Local anaesthetics (usually one of the -caines) are sometimes combined with agents which reduce bleeding, the so-called sympathomimetic vasoconstrictors. These would be epinephrine, norepinephrine and levonordefrin. Maybe others. Make sure you discuss this at the time of the procedure. Anaesthetic okay. Vasoconstrictor not.

You would best discuss this with the anaesthetist who will be doing the procedure.
