Local anaesthetics (usually one of the -caines) are sometimes combined with agents which reduce bleeding, the so-called sympathomimetic vasoconstrictors. These would be epinephrine, norepinephrine and levonordefrin. Maybe others. Make sure you discuss this at the time of the procedure. Anaesthetic okay. Vasoconstrictor not.
