Once, feeling like ice-cream for want of other food, I added a tablespoon or two of matcha to the ice-cream and mixed it up, justifying this behaviour by Japanese precept.
No sleep that night. It wasn't caffeine. The effect was not unpleasant until I tried to sleep.
There is nothing like good traditional regional Japanese breakfasts.
Maybe I should try some. It can be mixed with that Japanese green tea toasted rice mixture and is nice if the balance is right.
