I drove 1 1/2 hours to get to Groton. If it had been twice that distance it would have been more than worth it.
If you decide to do any chelation after amalgam removal, please do not even think about it until after reading the book Amalgam Illness by Andrew Cutler. The book will arm you with all the knowledge you need to know which options are right for you. And it will steer you far away from dangerous risky things that most doctors do and things that are all over the internet. There are safe conservative ways to go, and Andy spells out the details. You can always babblemail me or start a new post on the topic of chelation when you're ready. Even without the book you could get all you need to know from the Yahoo forum Frequent-Dose-Chelation or from me.
Anyway, Groton, 3 1/2 hours? PLan on a stop for a snack or meal along the way and that is actually a quicker drive than expected. That time can fly by. You'll be in Groton before you know it. If they had been average or pretty good I would say find someone closer. But they were phenomenal. 3 1/2 hours really isn't that long anyway. Try to plan with them though to get it all done in one visit like they did with me. They had all of my amalgams replaced in under 2 hours in one visit.
