Uuuuuhhh, no.

5-HTP is 5-hydroxy tryptophan, the intermediate between tryptophan and serotonin. Serotonin is 5-hydroxy tryptamine, which is shortened to 5-HT, All the different serotonin receptors are named by that convention, e.g. 5-HT1a receptor.
