I haven't tried these two things but I've been using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) which is also a type of energy work. http://www.emofree.com/
EFT:

I'm feeling excited about EFT, which I've been using a lot. It feels like it really "unstucks" buried emotions and dysfunction. I've been tapping on both relatively trivial issues such as craving an unhealthy food as well as deep core issues such as toxic shame from my childhood, i.e. "I'm wrong". The cool thing is that the emotions come up and they're painful as hell but then through the tapping, they pass! I've been in therapy for a hundred years and in some ways got worse and I think it's because all that pain just stayed stuck in my body. And now I'm freeing it.
I would like to try tai chi some day.
