suggestions for babble

Hi, everyone,

The conversation at the birthday dinner a few weeks ago naturally turned to Babble, and a number of suggestions were made:

on the boards:
signatures
profiles
a shorter cap on blocks
more consistency

in chat:
smoother updating
a reminder that everyone is expected to be civil and the administrators can be notified
a notify button

And there was something else, but I can't read it in my notes. What do you all think of the above?
