I'm in the UK, About six months ago, I was asked if I wanted to take part in a survey about smoking as if I did I might qualify for a chest xray and lung checks.
They asked me lots of questions such as my social status, my education (if I had a degree), my profession etc etc. The ONE, obvious question they failed to ask me, was about my mental health history! Now I no that we can't all blame smoking on mental health and that people do smoke without having issues with their mental health but I would have thought that would be an obvious contributing factor.
I imagine that somebody/bodies got paid a substantial amount of money for putting that stupid questionnaire together.
