Hey Bulldog2,
You bring up the very points I have been wrestling with.
My present situation IS enough to cause situational depression ( or adjustment disorder) as it is also called.
But I can trace back to the very day this current depression began...because a life stressor triggered it.
Switching from 10 years of Zoloft to Pristiq was the first change I made medically....as it was clear that the Zoloft had "pooped-out"But here it is...one year later...and I dont feel I have completely recovered from that Life Stressor.
Isnt that sad??? Who takes a year to get over a change in employment and a drastic reduction in income ????????( 60%)
And now I am in my 5th month of being unemployed
with no benefits, and my wife is the only one bringing Income to the household.
Maybe I should wait to try and be Med-Free.
What a catch twenty-two I am caught in on PMeds. Cant quit em and cant live with em.BF
