I'm sure I have read somewhere that tricyclics have a much lower incidence of 'poop out' (or more precisely, the patient stops responding) than the SSRIs. I really can't remember where I saw the article though.

I guess it's a case of trying individual drugs and just seeing how you get on. Sorry I can't be of more help!
