Barbiturates are heavily fought against-hysteria from the past.
Instead of all this crap about using sedating APs (risking EPMse) or sedating ADs. A barbiturate in the right case can be the ticket.Nembutal was the best, but no longer available. Secconal (100mg Red caps) are, or if that doesn't work, Tuinal (Seconbarbital+amytal)may.
these meds may be surpassd by newer hotshot pills, but have their place.
