Yes, I have had a few docs who thought I could have ADD because of a tendency to 'multitask' when I was in school. (i.e. I would read something interesting while the teacher was talking, read ahead in the book we were reading aloud, etc.)
But I got straight A's, at least in childhood. So I don't think I was 'attention deficit.' I think I was 'interested deficit.' I was not interested in focusing on things that I either already knew, or picked up so quickly I did not need additional reinforcement. The classes I was the most interested in were by far the most challenging.
