I have tried Modafinil. I thought it was just awful. I do recall a couple people here that tried it and liked it. Not me though.The first day was kind of nice. Lots of energy, quick thinking, good mood. But the second day was different, more sluggish, and without the nice bounce. The third day I was slowing even more. I would get physically exhausted very easy, and yet my mind was working fast. I became uninterested in doing anything, and yet if I forced myself to do something I could get totally engrossed in it until it was done. And then I would realize how totally tired and exhausted I felt. And there was this strange craving for another dose, almost like an addiction. I became so lethargic, cloudy minded, and no appetite. I thought maybe I had a touch of the flu. It felt like that. But it wasn't a flu.
I just really didn't like Modafinil at all. I highly prefer the ancestor from which it was invented. Adrafinil. Not only is Adrafinil far better--in my opinion only--but it is dirt cheap as well. Modafinil is very expensive.
