Posted by Meri-Tuuli on July 29, 2006, at 9:47:50

Anyone got any ideas? I'm looking for a CBT type book to help raise self esteem.

Kind regards

I am using "Loving What Is" with my therapist, which in a roundabout way is improving things all around.

Hey all,

Well I'm trying out "10 days to self esteem" by Mr Burns, well I haven't started yet, and I doubt it'll take 10 days, but hey.

I also have started one by Dr Phil "Self matters" which is totally American (not used to the US style of writing etc) but quite good nonetheless. It was all going well until you had to do some written exercises - now I'm just putting them off. Its so much easier doing something passive than it is active!

I'll let you all know how it goes.

Kind regards

Meri

I suggest renting the movie "Napolean Dynamite." It made me feel better about being who I am.
