Does anyone take evening primrose oil and/or black currant oil on a regular basis? If so, does it help you? If you take one rather than the other, why did you choose one over the other?

I take yet a third source of GLA, borage oil. It's possible that EPO has something in it that the others lack (EPO seems to be a favourite of women, particularly), but borage has GLA at higher concentration.
The effect of GLA supps are enhanced when taken with an omega-3 fatty acid.

Larry, do you take your omega-3 and omego-6 oils in a combination pill/capsule, or do you take them separately? If taken separately, what ratio of omega 3:6 do you use?
By the way, I'm sure you are aware of this possible problem, but I'll mention it anyway. I read on WholeHealthMD.com that evening primrose oil is usually preferred over borage as a source of GLA because the leaves and flowers of borage contain substances known as pyrrolizidine alkaloids that have the potential for liver toxicity.

Larry, when I asked whether you take 3 and 6 separately, I didn't mean at different times. I meant, do you take them as two different capsules.
