DR. Hsiung,
I am requesting that you add to your rule that one can not post more than 3 consecutive posts the following:
A. That the rule does not apply between the hours of Friday 9PM and Saturday 9PM as long as the posts in question satisfy the following:
1. That the consecutive posts are related
2. That the consecutive posts are relevant to the board's purpose that they are on.
3. That the consecutive posts have a supportive and/or educational purpose.

I am curious what is different about those specific hours? And also what the need would be to post more than 3 times in a row? Cannot what needs to be said, be said in 1 very long post?
I just don't really understand.Tam

Friends,
It is written her,[...I..don't..understand...]
The issues here are of great importance and significance IMO to this mental-health community.
The rule has an origin and is in the archives.
A question that one could have is why the rule was made. Another question that one could have, is the statements by Dr. Hsiung in his FAQ as to his thinking about why he made the rule.
Let us look at his first thinking:
A.[...Please {share} this site...]
I ask:
1. does posting what you want to share with the members here stop anyone, including what Dr. Hsiung referrs to as {less confident posters}, from entering the thread at any time, even if there are 4 posts with a members's name without another member's name in between? If you agree with that thinking, could you post a URL from an accredited mental health publication to validate that thinking or post your rational for validating that thinking? If so, I could then have the opportunity to respond to it.
2.Does anyone have to enter a thread here?
3.Could there be threads of topics that {less confident} posters could not have interest in or knowlege of?
4. Could this rule have historical parallels?
If you would like more infomation concerning the importance of this rule here and would like to email me, I would appreciate it
Lou

So,
Rules wouldn't apply 9 - 5..
Who's time zone exactly? Dr Bobs? Lou's? Mine?

Thanks for your suggestions, but I think I'd rather leave it the way it is for now.

Dr. Hsiung,
You replied to me that my request to you to be allowed to have an exception to your 3 consecutive post rule will not be granted for you wrote,[...I would rather leave it the way it is...].
The way that {it is} is that you have {exceptions} to your rule and that you want to be {flexible} with your rule.
Could you clarify your reasoning here as to why you will not grant me the exception that I request and also your reason(s) for you being {flexible} in relation to allowing others here to post more than 3 consecutive posts?
