I've found that many antidepressants trigger TMJ (jaw grinding). Are there any people who have had this problem find an ad that doesn't cause this problem or even helps alleviate this condition?

I have and have had TMJ for almost all my adult life- 20 years. In my own experience I have found that AD that also relieve anxiety don't make me clench and grind as much. I don't know that much about meds but maybe some anti-d's are just for depression and then that doesn't help with anxiety and TMJ-- where some like Lexapro help anxiety too so TMJ is less of a problem.
Anyway-- that's been my experience.flutterby- mandy

For me it seems that SSRIs and TMJ go hand-in-hand. I'm taking Celexa now and it is a problem, but the worst by far was Effexor. I was thinking that if I stayed on it I was eventually going to ruin my teeth and damage my manibular joint.

Years ago i had to go off paxil and zoloft because of tmj. Just to painful. Worse than depression.
