I have and have had TMJ for almost all my adult life- 20 years. In my own experience I have found that AD that also relieve anxiety don't make me clench and grind as much. I don't know that much about meds but maybe some anti-d's are just for depression and then that doesn't help with anxiety and TMJ-- where some like Lexapro help anxiety too so TMJ is less of a problem.
Anyway-- that's been my experience.
