Well, I used up my supply of lorazepam prior to the 30 day refill date and so am worried about my sleep. It's a hassle getting to talk to my pdoc and I'm not
sure if they even have any on hand to give me until the 13th of the month. I'm wondering what others do in such cases. I am currently taking 2mg of ativan before bed. I also take
80mg geodon 2x/day, 20mg of lexapro/day and just started taking 75mg effexor xr. I'm uncertain if I can mix in an otc sleep aide with these drugs. I do have an herbal aide from "Herbal Extracts" called Deep Sleep
which has California poppy herb, Valerian root etc. but don't know if I can mix this stuff in with all my other drugs either.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do for a sleep aide, short of begging my pdoc for ativan?
Thank you.

It sounds like you're taking Ativan mostly to help you sleep, not for anxiety? Well, daytime anxiety anyway - nighttime anxiety can definitely interfere with sleeping.
I sometimes use an over-the-counter antihistamine, Benadryl, to help me sleep. It makes me really sleepy, but takes about an hour from when I take the pill. If you try it, you may want to try it when you don't have to get up early the next day, in case you have a hangover.
Hope this helps. I can imagine you're not sleeping too well. There are also the non-drug things that are supposed to help with sleeping. One I have found sometimes helpful is taking a hot bath about 2 hours before bedtime. Not right before, but 2 hours before. I think the temperature change mimics what your body does naturally when it's time to sleep.
