> Did you mean you went straight from 150 to zero..that's way too fast..you need to go down about 50 mg a week at minimum until you are off..you may still get the zaps but they will be much less severe..I wasn't sure from your post if you went from Lexapro to Zoloft or have just started taking Lexapro straight off Zoloft...i've done that with minimal problems..as they are in the same "group"..

> I'm of the school of thought that slow and careful lessens the dreaded withdrawal symtoms, especially the brain zaps..hope this helpsI went from 30mg of Lexapro straight to 150 of Zoloft. The transition there was fine. Ihated Zoloft. I am also on 250mg of Limictal.(Bi-polar 2, supposedly). I had no libido and felt like an ice queen. Rarely had any emotions except occasiomal anger fits. My doc, which is an addictionologist (DO), told me to go down to 75mg for a week then to 0. Its been about 7 days since I've been off and the withdrawals are becoming a bit "lighter", I am also taking 2000mg of Omega 3 a day and doing an herbal body cleanse. Ifeel like crap most of the time. Tired, cranky, body aches. I have also been taking Chantix for about 21/2 wks. I guess I'm not sure how I feel or why since I have so much going on. I see my doc today. I'm affraid he's going to put me back on the Zoloft. Ihate these drugs, ALL of them, oi wish I could be "normal" with none of them. Thanks for your response, it's nice to be able to "vent" to someone who understands.
