I suffered from prolonged withdrawal two years ago after coming off of a low dose of zoloft. The withdrawal lasted for two months and forced me to go back on zoloft.

> When does withdrawl turn into the slide back into depression, and how is it possible to know? Is it a simple case of when the body is washed of the drug that the withdrawl should end or does it take longer than that?

The insomnia is relentless and I have had little sleep in five days. But I just wonder if this is just a rebound or if its the return of the depression for good, as it is my hunch that if is the return of the bad days that the depression will follow the anxiety and the insomnia.

I have already lost half a stone since coming of the remeron in just 2 weeks, without really changing my eating habits or the amount of exercise, if anything I am eating more chocolate as I am aware now that I am not putting on weight. So something is going on there, so hopefully this is just a withdrawl and not a return of the bad stuff. What are your points of view and especially expereinces with this? Is there light at the end of the tunnel or do you reckon its likely in your expereince to be back to sqaure one?
