I could try to use my pill cutter to see if they could be cut in half. Pdoc told me to take a dose every other day but when I try that, I can't sleep on the nights I don't take it.

Tough one.The first thought that came to mind was use another drug temporariliy to help you sleep while your system accomodates itself to the loss of Seroquel. You could use sedating antidepressants like Remeron or trazodone. They do not produce dependence like the benzodiazepines, although if that is the first choice of your doctor, you might as well try it. Other drugs include Ambien, Sonata, and Lunesta.
Good luck.
