Insomnia has always been a problem for me,and being bipolar, sleep is especially important to avoid mania. It's very difficult for me to imagine falling asleep without any help.

I was on 2 imovane every night for maybe 4 years. I didn't think I'd ever be able to sleep normally without them.

But now I can
Now I can :-)
Though I have to say that my problem was getting off to sleep rather than waking up once I was asleep.
though I do remember a time when I was getting used to not having the sleep meds (for maybe a couple of weeks) where I also had trouble with waking up around 3am and not being able to get back to sleep.

I reckon...
There may well be hope :-)
