How are you going to go about it?

I had no problem coming off of Cymbalta using a fairly rapid taper. I had been taking it for a couple of months. That's probably long enough for me to be vulnerable to a withdrawal syndrome. For me, Cymbalta seemed easier to discontinue than Effexor. My guess is that the degree of serotonin reuptake inhibition is substantially lower when using Cymbalta than Effexor at the dosages commonly prescribed. This might account for an easier withdrawal.
