Hi Gee. Gosh, thanks for your reply. i know you haven't been feeling great either and your trying to help me when you're feeling down yourself really touches me.

so, is there anything i can help you with? i'm sorry you're feeling like school is hard. are you studying to be a teacher? there are ways to improve study skills if you want to try to get better grades. since i've been in school for most of my life (14 years of post-secondary ed if you can believe it! 5 years of college and 9 of grad school) maybe i could try to help with study tips. and i guess i am a teacher too although i feel like a pretty sh*tty one right now! :)

yes i wish i could have that attitude of just too bad for them. i could ask them for mid semester evals and work from their suggestions. but i am soooo sensitive to criticism. it seems i can only get praise and even then i doubt people's praise. criticism i just get so hurt by although i guess if it helps me get better i should really relish it. my selfesteem is pretty down right now. i think i may be in a depressed or anxious state. everything seems pretty neurotic and negative. any other suggestions?

but thank you for being there.

> I know what you mean. I start my practicum this week and just thinking about it makes me nervous. My prof has given us some good ideas. You are the teacher, and if they think you're stupdid, that's really too bad for them. But mostly likely they won't. What did you think of your profs? Be prepared. The more prepared you are the better you'll feel going in. Write what you want to say on note cards to remind yourself.
