Law School students taking ritalin or adderall?

Posted by RedSoxFan79 on November 7, 2005, at 21:55:34

Hi-
If I get accepted to law school(which i am pretty sure I will) for fall 06 then I will be enrolling. However, I was wondering if there are any law school students that currently take any stimulants. I have adhd/depression and ritalin works great for me for learning new concepts and discipline and impulse control. Adderall greatly enhances my writing ability, but does nothing for focus or discipline.

Does anyone have experience taking either of these and which one has worked better for them relating to success in law schol. Also, how burnt out do you feel after a week of classes homework and ritalin/adderall use. In undergraduate, I mangaed to use ritalin sporadically so I never really got burnt out. But I feel I will need to take it for every class or else I will fall behind.

Thank you
