i remember watchign bangkok hilton when i was fairly young. someone or other was set up and she ended up in a prison for trafficking drugs that someone else planted into her suitcase.
she was in prison in bangkok for many years... something about her not having a fair trial...
hard hard hard line on drugs.
i remember the outcry when some australian girl was imprisoned in bali for being caught with in don't remember how much of whatever...
the australian response seemed to be... well.. it actually seemed fairly plausile that she was in fact trafficking in a certain amount -- to sell to rich tourists to enjoy on holidlay more than to control a popluation of locals, admittedly, making them dependent on you so they would do anything anything anything you say...
but maybe that is the point of the tourists having drugs. better than money.

i'm giving him a hard time. he's big enough to cope with it, i dare say. he's been knighted, even, i do believe. sir john key for leading the nz economy etc etc etc for so long... the right honorable.
i'm sure he's big enough to have anything i say just roll rlight off his back. i mean... if he isn't... well, then, who in the world would be??
