i ordered a commerical line 16 inch wide area, the website never responded and will not accept call or anything, i've remailded them. Nothing, unless they have some kinda wierd research loooking me up, i don't know. Then i tried to buy a hooover convcertible, the collectors item, then the seller said he would get it packed up an send it. Never heard from him again,, he read my messeges but he didnt respond. So those 2 things have been a bummer to me.
Anyways, i bought a 60 dollar metal brush with a metal beater, i thought it would do an exellant job in beating the carpet with metal, because it vibrates and digs deep...suppost to be beat the carpet, smack it hard down, so everything down deep will come up. It hardly looks like vacuumed, it does but it doesnt have the streaks, hear it beating the carpet, and makig it hot, no vacuum streaks that make it look clean, it looks like metal was beating the carpet. May just go back to the orignal brush which did much better job in making this carpet look clean and groomed. The beater cleans and beats it, but there's not much difference in appearance after its done. I thought the beater which was like 60 dollars for a heavy metal chuck, Doesn't look groomed, looks like metal was cleaning the carpet, not grooming it.
picks up more dirt, the bag is fuller than the roll brush, but still it makes the carpet look not as fresh groomed as metal brush roll standard.
