it doesn't really make sense.
they do say the incidence in maori and pacific islanders is less than the incidence in european. but that the maori and pacific islanders who are identified have it more advanced at time of diagnosis so unclear they are picking up all those cases.

so we are the worst in the world when it comes to people dying from skin cancer.
but we think we need more observation of more people dying. there isn't enough evidence to adopt any of the protocols that any of the countries have that are doing better than us. we are doing worse because of genetic factors outside our control so we will just carry on doing what we are doing because we just love to be and stay the worst.

i am fairly skeptical about the vitamin d fortification idea.
because of the whole osteoporosis and lack of bone density and the bisphosphonates thing...
i think many have invested in keeping lots of people immobilised for a long time in aged care institutions. there is a lot of money in that. sigh.
