Idk how Kirwan died. Alcoholism may have played a role. I found this on Bourdain's suicide.
"Despite what were hearing from nearly every media outlet, suicide is not necessarily the result of an untreated mental illness. Suicide can be a rationale act in the face of irrational and impossible circumstances. Were the Buddhist who immolated themselves to protest the insane violence of the Vietnam War suffering from a mental illness?"
My feeling is that we only know life from life, from being alive. Therefore we cannot put a value on it, Once you get to a certain age it hardly matters. What matters is that the young can grow up healthy and as happy as possible.
One is apt to hear at this point something along the lines of 'If only we can save just one life'. This over-flatters us. There are plenty of lives we could better care for. No details necessary.
The albums on which he played are....
Then Play On
Kiln House
Future Games
Bare Treesbut maybe there were more?
Bet you haven't heard a better version of Mission Bell than this?

Jeremy Spencer went to the Children of God. I like some of his compositions too. People took SO much acid.
