i've done quite a lot of hallucinagens in my time... what was amazing to me... was that it taught me a lot about how much of my experience was... in my mind. my contribution. coming from me. my perception. my interpretation. so very different when on the drugs... it got me thinking about how maybe that stuff was real and my usual reality... but really... neither had any more claim...
maher has this stuff on 'feelings of significance'. about how that is part of the 'delusional experience'. something happens... something that would be mundane... unremarkable... but to focus on that. or to have that strike one as... significant. important. meaningful. something like that... that quality to the experience...
