don't forget to do some pulling movement to balance out the pushing (push-ups and bench pressing are both pushing movements - they work your chest but not really your back).
one i like is to find a rail on your walk and pull yourself up to it. like this:

if you have forward hunched shoulder posture (as lots of people do who do lots of computer work) then some athletic trainers reccommend as much as 2x the volume of pulling to pushing (to help fix the imbalance)
