Breaking Bipolar News...I had a doc appt at 10am yesterday. I sat down on a loveseat and was writing notes that I wanted to cover with him. Amazing what can change in six weeks.
I looked up and a lady with a bottle of water was walking over. I thought, I guess she needs help opening it. I opened it and gave it back to her. She said no it's for you, you don't look like you feel well. lol What do you mean? Oh, you're staring off in the distance. Oh, haha, I'm just making a few notes. By this time she's sitting next to me and there's is seating everywhere. I have to remember, yeah i'm 60 but i'm a hot 60. between naps of course.
Being bipolar I shouldn't say this but I was watching her very closely but she was fine. I've never had someone walk over and talk to me in a psychiatrist office.
Actually she was right I didn't feel well.
Her doc called her in then my doc did the same. Hey doc, still getting your haircut by blind Willie on the east side? Shutup Phil. At least i don't have a csny roadie haircut from 1968. I told him I can't justify seroquel anymore, it scares the sh*t out of me. He talked about switching to Latuda. When I got home I did a search and came up to a forum post. "Should I worry about the sudden death syndrome with latuda? Next, pull Lithium..that surprised me. Add a beta blocker. Drop the anticholonergic I take for back pain caused by Seroquel.
The anticholonergic..made my Lithium tremors go through the roof. I said when I'm on the computer I have my right hand on the mouse and my left hand on my right and it still takes a while to x out of a screen.
Oh, Latuda, $800 a month.
