Phil the best pdoc I ever had said that I also have huge abandonment issues which I know I do. And this describes me to a T. It hurts to live in fear of someone yelling at me. And it happens frequently just like childhood. To have a Mother who says carrying you up two flights of stairs as a baby caused her illness leaves you with more guilt than I have ever known. Especially since the illness was there throughout your childhood and killed her at age 48 leaving me at age l7. To have been responsible for killing your Mother is horrible even if intellectually you know it's not true. Thanks Phillipa
