A puppy. My son & husband would like one very much. And yes, a lab--happy &lively (like breaking a bronco!). Otherwise, I'd lean towards an older, more worldly gal.
My husband says that to a lab, life is one big party, and everyone is invited :). Watching our old lab hit the waves or any body of water gave me such pleasure. When her arthritis was bad toward the end of her life, she'd hobble to the water, tail wagging, and plunge in. We'd have to limit her swim time because she'd give the water her all, then be
unable to get off the couch for the remainder of the day.For myself, when depression is bad, I can't listen to music or see films because they trigger me (among other things).
I've been on a samurai movie kick :)
MDD currently controlled. C-ptsd and comorbid health concerns. Chronic fatigue.
