they only theoretically benefit one's liver as they may provide an option apart from alcohol to deal with anxiety, and as we all know chronic alcohol abuse will surely damage your liver.
benzos (aka benzodiazepines) are a class of anti-anxiety medications, like ativan, klonopin, xanax, valium etc.
I take 1mg of klonopin. .5 at night, .5 in the morn- I like to think the morning dose takes the edge off my work anxiety, and makes the day in general more bearable.
I just wouldn't take an amount I wasn't familiar with before a job interview, too much of a good thing can make me a little loopy. I'm too twisted up with anxiety these days too feel anything beyond anxiety reduction though on the klonopin.
